Biography

Introducing Mostafa Ragheb

An Artist of Avazino

Singer

Ragheb

Mostafa Ragheb, known professionally as “Ragheb,” was born on March 19, 1990, in Tehran and raised in Yazd. He is a well-known Iranian pop singer and one of the artists of Avazino.

He began his artistic life in childhood, drawn to music and to singing, Quran recitation, acting, painting and choral groups. As a teenager he studied voice with Akbar Azizi, Hamidreza Nourbakhsh, Majid Kiani and Ali Jahandar, and his interest in traditional Iranian music helped shape his artistic identity.

Ragheb's professional career began in 2006 and grew through musical theatre, music festivals and collaborations with various ensembles; awards at music and theatre festivals were among his early achievements. Releases such as “Hamine Eshgh” and “To Ra Ke Didam,” along with his emotional and romantic songs, established a strong following. His work with the late Hamid Hiraad — the joint single “Jazzab” and a series of shared concerts — remains a notable chapter.

He has released two official albums, “Hale Namaloom” and “Faryad.” The latter, his most recent, includes “Rasme Zamooneh,” “Faryad,” “Ehtiaj” and “Booye Gandom.”

With a distinctive voice and an approach that brings elements of traditional Iranian music into pop, Ragheb has built a recognizable musical identity. His live performances, close rapport with audiences and attention to artistic quality are central to his work, which he continues in professional collaboration with Avazino Cultural and Artistic Institute under the management of Hassan Ardestani.
